I don't know how to really express the feeling of loss I have. Throughout my life and especially in my youth, Uncle Bill helped me in more ways than he probably realised. Both he & Auntie Pat meant and mean a lot to me and I really hope this was understood. Although 7000 miles away he and Auntie Pat were often in my thoughts and I hope that in future he will be looking down on me when I am on the golf course and passing on his humorous comments, I will certainly be thinking of him.

He was a lovely man and deepest sympathies go out to Auntie Pat, Richard, Glynis and the extended family and my thoughts are with you.

Dear Uncle Bill,

Thank you for being part of my life growing up, as a child I always had fun with you & Auntie Pat, I remember when I stayed with you in Holyport you used to put on Max Bygraves and sing to it, it always made me laugh. When you retired to Ireland Sean & I came over a few times to visit and you always made us feel welcome and took us out and about to see the beautiful country that you retired too. We will miss you greatly.

Love Marie & Sean
