Magda and I felt so honoured to have Willie and Brid to our wedding in London a couple of years ago and it was so lovely to have so many of the O'Brien's over to help us celebrate, despite the distance. Our fond memories of this occasion come to mind at this very sad time.

Our sincere condolences to Brid ,Maeve,Liam,Paul & Willie's grandchildren on his passing . He had a prolonged sickness which was bravely bourne over the last four years. In an extraordinary co incidence Willy first worked in Meath & we both arrived in Lismore about the same time ,55 years ago. We had many interactions over the years ,in sport ,books but especialy in quizes . We went to Fermoy for over 30 years & we have fond memories of the quiz,the craic & sometimes the coming home!.
We'll miss you Willie ,one of nature's gentlemen ,& you now have nearly a full team for ( hopefully) quizes in Heaven!.
