So sorry to learn of Willie’s passing. Willie was a lovely man. I had the pleasure of meeting Willie and his lovely Wife Ellen a few times over the years since we all moved to the Crusheen/ Gort area.
The McDonaghs had spent a good part of their lives in England and we were similar having spent time in New York. Ireland and family were very important and I’m sure like us they frequented the Irish clubs and community gatherings.
Wille and Ellen were gentle people and the few times we met we always had a nice little chat. May they both rest in peace.

Deepest Sympathy to Michael and Eileen on the loss of your Dad Willie and to all the Mc Donagh family and to his adored Grandchildren .Willie was a gentleman and he was a very stylish man and he was very proud of his family and he adored his late wife Ellen .I have fond memories of doing Ellen 's hair in Rosemount Nursing home .Willie would phone me a few days previously to arrange to have her hair styled ..He would arrive to the Nursing home just to see Ellen with her new hairstyle and he would take a photo and send it to Eileen and Michael and he would get her favourite perfume and give her a spray and you could see that he adored her .They were soulmates and Ellen would tell me what a wonderful man Willie was and how they met in London and they were very young lovebirds ..Willie you have been reunited now with your soulmate Ellen .What a fantastic couple ye were in this world ..Thank you for the great Memories Willie .Sorry I cant attend the funeral but I will be thinking of ye ..Wille Rest in Peace and It was lovely to have known you and Ellen .We will miss you Kay
