I was so saddened to just hear about Wilma. She was a good friend in The Moat Club to me since I was a teenager! When I went to finally direct a play, wilma did all the costumes for my first play La Corbiere in 2007 or 2008 all designed over several evening cuppas in Cutbush! So sorry to hear the sad news about Wilma. I’ll never forget witnessing her joy for life when meeting her on those early morning breakfasts watching rugby in Clon, and when Vic chauffeured her around the streets of Clon in the tricycle. I'm so sad to hear that the world has lost such a unique and talented woman. I had the pleasure to work with Wilma over the years and we had an amazing time in No Hay to Save in Brooklyn at the Edinburgh Fringe. She could design and fashion a costume out of the most unlikely materials and they were always perfect. And we had great fun those times. She was great company, very caring, always interested in how you were doing, not to mention her quick wit and sense of fun. Always so elegant and a wonderful creative and kind spirit.
