Sincere condolences to Mary, Una, Anne, John, Seamus and Aideen on the death of your much loved mother. Apologies I was unable to attend her funeral . I remember visiting your gran’s house as a very young child and meeting Winnie and all my cousins. Winnie like myself was the youngest of the family and we got extra special attention. We lost contact over the years as I moved to Dublin over 50 years ago but she very kindly had Mass offered for my sister who died last year. Ironically at the end of December I was driving through Kinlough with another sister and she explained Winnie lived near there and we decided we would contact her on my next trip to Leitrim and visit her. The Lord had different plans . May the love and kindness you share and the good memories you have of your Mam sustain you in your grief.
