Dear Deirdre,
We are deeply sorry for the very sad loss of your mum. Winnie was an incredible lady; always so warm and welcoming with a heart of gold. Her capacity for life was admirable and her ready laugh and sense of fun was truly infectious. Winnie was one in a million; she will be dearly missed by her family and many, many friends.

Winnie was an exceptional individual, full of zest and fun, who will be greatly missed. I take some comfort from having spoken to her, on the phone, shortly before she left hospital to go home. In her usual pragmatic way she told me that she would soon be joining Pat, as he needed a new “dance partner”. We will always remember her and Pat with great fondness.
