It was with great sadness I learned of Yvettes passing.I had the immense pleasure of working alongside Yvette in Marino College, and it is impossible to put into words the profound impact she had on everyone she met. Her kindness, empathy, and unwavering dedication to our students were truly unparalleled.

Yvette often spoke with such joy and pride about her family—Ciaran, Ciara, and Conor. She beamed whenever she mentioned your names and shared stories of your adventures together. Her love for you all was evident in every word she spoke.

Yvette’s smile and laughter were infectious, lighting up every room she entered. She was the embodiment of grace and positivity—a true lady in every sense.

I am deeply honoured to have spent so many years working alongside her, learning from her, and witnessing the joy she brought to our school community. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time.

It was with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Yvette. Sincere condolences to Ciaran, Ciara and Conor and the extended Conaghey and Conlon family.
I had the privilege of working with Yvette in Marino College. Yvette's kindness, compassion, empathy, generosity, good humour, excellent judgement, and professionalism shone through everything she did. She taught her students these values by modelling them every day in Marino College. She worked tirelessly for her students and truly believed in them. I know they appreciated her many acts of kindness. I was also the recipient of such kind acts - on quite a number of occasions she handed me a little snack bar from her large treasure trove, whenever she saw me wilting a little at the end of the school day! Yvette exuded warmth and her smile was totally infectious. Marino College is a better place because Yvette worked there. She made a huge positive difference in the lives of her students and colleagues. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. However she will live on in the many and wonderful memories we all have of her. As her students would say Yvette was a legend.

I worked with Yvette for many years in Marino College and from the day we met, I just adored her. She was so kind, so caring, so funny and so amazing to our students. Her warmth and smile lit up every room she went in. I always felt great after a chat with Yvette.
I loved hearing her speak about her family and her children, she was always so full of life. We shared a love of Bowie, Elton, Disney and of course Casablanca and shared so many laughs.
Yvette you made the world a brighter and kinder place and I feel so lucky to have known you.
