Much love and condolences to the family. I had the great pleasure and privilege to work with Yvonne while she was at New Hall - a great teacher and a wonderful colleague.

Yvonne made a big impact in life and achieved so so much. She was understated in her determination and I remember being very impressed in how she managed to take adversity in her stride, always smiling and looking forward, always bubbly, kind and generous to her peers. We were delighted with her well deserved triumphs in UCD. Ah this seems so cruel. She certainly won't be forgotten and my heart goes out to her lovely family at such a very difficult time. I worked with Yvonne in São Paulo at St Paul’s School. She was an outstanding and caring teacher - she wouldn’t stand for any nonsense! She was a joy to work with and had such a great sense of humour. Thoughts and prayers to all her family and loved ones.

Yvone was an excellent teacher, head of department and friend I had to pleasure to work with in Brazil. Pupils loved her biology lessons. My deepest condolences to her family and my prayers are with them!
