We have just heard the shocking news about Yvonne’s passing. Our sincere condolences to her husband Noel and to our dear old friends Tess, June, Geraldine, Charles, Audrey and Malcolm. Our hearts go out to you all at this awful time. We have great memories of Yvonne from when we were all growing up together in Renmore Park and of the happy times our two families shared down the years. Yvonne was a lovely person and great fun to be around. She and our late father, Joe, had similar senses of humour and saw the funny side of everyday events. She was very good to him when he was suffering his final illness, often visiting for a chat and a laugh. We’re very grateful to her for her kindness and only wish that she was still with us. May her caring soul rest in peace.

Dearest Tess,

Yvonne’s precious Mother,

Audrey, all of her brothers and sisters,

Yvonne’s beloved husband, Noel.

She will be very sadly missed by everyone who knew her at her Primary School, Scoil Chaitríona, in Renmore, and at her Post-primary School, Salerno, in Salthill.
Thereafter by her colleagues at her many different places of work, especially at UHG where she was absolutely loved, and where her work ethic was clearly exemplary.

Yvonne will be sadly missed by her neighbours in Renmore Park & in the entire Parish of Renmore. Her intelligence and all-encompassing talents were legendary.

She offered so much and had so much to offer.
Her beautiful smile,
her integrity,
the care she greeted everyone she met with will never be forgotten.

You always felt better when she flashed a smile at you even when she busily passed you by in a corridor of UHG or in town or Renmore or indeed wherever she might be making her way to. That was the effect it had on me for one. Thank you Yvonne.

Yvonne’s loss is immense to those closest to her as you bid farewell - for the moment.

May God bless you, comfort you and give you the courage you need at this devastating time.

May her beautiful soul live on in your hearts and memories until you meet once more in the paradise of Heaven.
