My deepest sympathy to the Bracken and Smith families on the sad passing of Yvonne.
I worked with Yvonne (or Brack as we knew her) and Gorden in Deegan Photo in the late 1960’s as a young apprentice photographer. Brack was the best black and white printer I’ve known. She always set aside time to teach me the subtleties of printing for which I am eternally grateful. Brack’s passing is the end of an era. Rest in Peace Brack

The Bracken family were very much loved and part of the community here in Mullaghmore. They were held in high esteem. I know Yvonne had great affection for the village where she grew up. Her father Jules Bracken was the gamekeeper for the Classiebawn estate.
He had a great friendship with the Ashley and Mountbatten family.
