Cora died on June 24th 2025, peacefully in the loving and excellent care of the staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Hugh, brothers, Michael, John, Seamus and Pat, and son-in-law Eugene.

Cora will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Linda, Jean, Ruth, Lisa and Mark, grandchildren, Fionn, Nicole, Jack, Ella, Michael, Laura, Jessica, Regan and Ethan, brothers, Tommy, Dick and Brendan, sisters, Tina, Nuala, Anna and Marie, sons-in-law, Pat, Eamon, Liam and Greg, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Grant Cora Eternal Rest and Peace

Cora will repose at her home on Thursday (June 26th) from 5pm to 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning (June 27th) to St. Ciaran's Church, Shannonbridge, where her Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am, and after which she will be laid to rest in Clonmacnois.
