Cormac (Mogga) Mac Liathain

(Formerly, Mervue) On Wednesday, 9th June, 2021 Cormac (Mogga) died peacefully with his beloved wife Teresa  and family by his side at University Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by his parents Siobhán and Seosamh and by his brothers Ultan and Ruairí. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife, son Cormac and his wife Laura, daughters Siobhan and her husband Michael and Clodagh and her partner Daniel also by his adored grandchildren Aoibhe and Ryan, Tyler and Lauren, his brother Fergus, sisters Maeve, Deirdre, Clíona, Nessa and Niamh,  uncles and aunts, the extended Mac Liathan and Mc Donagh family, his colleagues at U.H.G. in particular the mortuary staff past and present and his many friends.

Leaving from his home on Saturday morning, 12th June,  at 10.30 a.m.  to arrive at the Holy Family Church, Mervue  for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock.

Rest In Peace

All funeral arrangements will take place in accordance with current Government guidelines on Funerals and public gatherings to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The attendance at the Church will be limited to fifty people.
