The death has occurred of
Cornelius (Connie) O’Brien
O’Brien (Bantry)
On May 24th, 2025, peacefully, in the presence of his family and in the wonderful care of all the staff of Bantry General Hospital, CORNELIUS (CONNIE), (ex Dipping Inspector), Goulanes Bridge, Bantry, in his eighty-ninth year.
Predeceased by his parents Cornelius and Bridget, his sister Nora, brothers Jackie and Timmy.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his brothers Paddy and Michael, sisters-in-law Hannie and Peggy, nieces Noreen, Helen, Brenda and Nita, nephews John, David and Michael, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, dear friends and his great neighbours.
May he rest in peace
Reposing at his home at Goulanes Bridge (P75 X338) on tomorrow Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in All Saints Church, Drimoleague. Livestream link:
