Cornelius (Nelius) McCarthy
McCarthy, Carrigfadda, Skibbereen. On 1st March, 2024 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. NELIUS, sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née O'Mahony), sons Patrick and Derry, daughter Kay and daughter-in-law Sarah. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Jerry. Deeply regretted by his loving family, adored grandchildren Emile, Sinéad, Clara, Charlie, Neil and Ed, great grandson Figaro, brother Billy, sisters Eileen (Hurley) and Mary (O'Driscoll), sisters-in-law Margaret and Josephine, brothers-in-law Liam (and the late Frank), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Romie O' Donovan’s Funeral Home, North St., Skibbereen on Sunday 3rd March, from 4pm to 6pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday 4th March, at 12 noon in St.Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen, livestreamed on http://Skibbereenandrath.ie Funeral afterwards to St.Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen via the bypass.
