Crissie O’Brien (née Somers) of Tanavalla, Listowel, Co. Kerry, died peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family on 14th November 2025, beloved wife of the late David, dearest mother of Joan (O’Sullivan, Castleisland), Lily (McHugh, Skerries), Marie (Corridan, Listowel) and Cyril (Ardee).

Sadly missed by her loving family, her 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her sister Lillie McMahon, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel on Monday (17th November) from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Listowel on Tuesday morning at 10.15 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Crissie will be celebrated at 10.30 a.m. (streamed on www.listowelparish.com). Interment afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Listowel.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. (via “Donation” link below – Kerry Hospice Foundation), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel.
