Cyril Jones

The death has occurred of Cyril Jones, aged 88 years of Jones SuperValu, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. April 3rd 2025.

Predeceased by his father John ‘Jackie’ Jones, his mother Kathleen and his beloved sister Katherine. Cyril passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Milford Care Centre. His loss is deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Patsy, son John, daughters Majella Corcoran and Sinead Cronin. Daughter in law Claire, sons in law Matt and John and his brother Brendan.
Cyril is lovingly remembered by his adored grandchildren Cáimin, Cianna and Erin Jones, Kate, Hannah and Sean Corcoran, Declan and Billy Cronin. Brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his eclectic circle of friends.

Reposing at St Joseph’s Church, Miltown Malbay, Saturday April 5th from 3.30pm with funeral prayers after 6pm Mass. Funeral Mass on Sunday April 6th at 1.30pm with burial afterwards in Ballard Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed online at https://miltownmalbayparish.ie

As a mark of respect Jones SuperValu Miltown Malbay will close today Saturday 5th at 3pm and remain closed on Sunday 6th. Reopen on Monday 7th at 8am.
