Cyril passed away peacefully, in his 93rd year, on Saturday 24th January 2026. Beloved husband of the late Ellen (Lynn) and the late Norma. He will be very sadly missed by his loving sons Peter, Cyril and Kevin, his daughters-in-law Emmanuelle, Margaret and Lynn, his treasured grandchildren Timothy, Ellen, Annabel, Clara, Abigail, Cillian, Lana, Darragh and Ali, his sister Ruth, sister-in-law Teresa and his many friends and neighbours.

 

The Meehan family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Tara Winthrop Private Clinic, Swords for the tender and compassionate care they afforded to Cyril over the past number of years.

 

A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Seafield Chapel at The Fanagan-Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview on Wednesday 28th January from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

 

Cyril’s Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino on Thursday 29th January at 10.00am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
