Damien O' Leary (Shenick, Skerries, Co. Dublin and Bunowen, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo.) (retired An Garda Síochána) August 28th 2024:- Peacefully in the care of Bartra Loughshinny Residential Nursing Home, Skerries, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Gretta (née Moran), daughter & sons Siobhan O'Grady, Ciarán, Sean, and Colm, brothers Fr. Sean and Desmond, sisters Angela Roseingrave and Joan Keane, son-in-law Sean, daughters-in-law Ruth, Maria, and Espe, grandchildren Iosla, Fiadh and Arty, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, the extended Moran & O' Leary families, former colleagues and many friends. Predeceased by his beloved brother Donal.

Damien will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Saturday (Aug. 31st) from 5:30pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm, followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday at 11:30am, followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.
