Dan Buckley

Buckley (Old Head, Kinsale) on March 29th, 2026, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Dan, beloved husband of the late Mary and dear father of Josephine (Lange), Catherine (McCarthy), Terence, Marie (Russell), Claire, Seamus, Annette, Irene and Linda and father-in-law of the late Peter, dear brother of Kathleen, Eileen, and the late Anne, Charlie, Willie and Christy.

 

Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Tara and Niamh, sons-in-law Barry, Jack, Holger and partners Patrick, Albert and Nicol, his 10 grandchildren Stan, Caoimhe, Tomás, Rían, Rory, Jason, Madeline, Ruby, Charlie and Lucy, brothers-in-law Murty and Ollie, sisters-in-law Joan and Sheila, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

Dan will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Tuesday (31st March) from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm. (Parking is available in Supervalu Car Park by kind permission - max 2 hours).

 

Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday (1st April) at 2pm in Holy Trinity Church, Ballinspittle which will be livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals, funeral afterwards at Templetrine Cemetery.
