Late Assistant Chief Nursing Officer of St. Stephen’s Hospital, Glanmire
On February 23rd, 2026, peacefully and gently, surrounded by his loving family in St. Clare’s Ward, St. Finbarr’s Hospital, Cork.
Beloved husband of Pat (née Murphy) and much loved dad of Fiona, Annabel, Helena, Trevor and Fergal.
Adored grandad of Aoife, Michael, Emma, Kayla, Moya, Amy, Ava, Ella and Beckett.
Dear brother of Paddy, Seamus and Kathleen.
Predeceased by his parents Timothy and Nora.
Also remembering with love his late siblings Margaret, Mamie, Hannah, Nora, Sr. Jane, Teddy and Humphrey.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, daughters, sons, cherished grandchildren, brothers, sister, sons-in-law Pat Barry (Knockaheen) and Liam O’Riordan, daughter-in-law Siobhan Lawlor, Trevor’s partner Sonia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Dan Rest in Peace.
Dan will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Thursday 26th February from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
Reception into St. Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill on Friday 27th February for 2.00pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
