Dan Dowling

Dowling, Dan, of Santry Close, Dublin 9, passed peacefully on the 17th January, under the tender and compassionate care of all the staff in Beneavin Manor. Beloved husband of Joan and much-loved father of David, Peter, Keith, Jane and Gillian. Adored by his grandchildren Ryan, Sadie, Jorden, Daniel, Fionn, Mia, Eve and Louise, his brother Michael, sister Patricia, brother-in-law Ken, sisters-in-law Rita and Cynitha, daughter-in-law Bernie and son-in-law JP, extended family, friends, neighbours and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Dan received at Beneavin Manor where the staff helped make the last 13 months so comfortable and special for both Dan and our family.

Forever in our hearts, his legacy of love and kindness will live on.

May Dan Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Wednesday, 22nd January, between 5pm and 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 23rd January, at 10.30am in the Church of Holy Child, Whitehall, thereafter to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
