Dan Linehan

On March 6th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St Raphael's Ward, Beaumont Hospital, Daniel (Dan) Linehan, late of Portmarnock and formerly of Lamanaugh, Boherbue, Co. Cork. Former Principal at St. Brigid's Boys' National School Killester, and Naomh Mearnog GAA. Predeceased by his brother Jim, brother and sisters-in-law Jim, Mary and Nellie and his nephew Gerald. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Margaret (Browne), loving son David (Lenny), daughter-in-law Aimee, his adored grandchildren, Nathan, William and Emilia, brothers Frank (Glanmire), Michael (Cork), sister Noreen O'Connell (Boherbue), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, niece, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Monday, 10th March, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal to St. Anne’s Church, Portmarnock on Tuesday morning for 10am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown crematorium at 1pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
