Dan O'CONNELL

Peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Brigid Rose, his wife Mary and sister Sr. Veronica. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Angela, sons and daughters Daniel, Harry, David, Grace, John and Laura (Flynn), daughter-in-law Niamh, grandchildren Meabh and Rory, sisters Margaret Brady, Bride Fagan, Nuala Kerr and Eileen McKinney, brothers Tom and Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at home for family and close friends. Removal on Monday at 10.15am, to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, with attendance restricted to 50% of church capacity, in compliance with current guidelines. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Dan by being present on the route, socially distanced, as the cortège proceeds from his home to the Church via Plaster, Edenappa Road, Fsughart Hill, St. Brigid's Shrine and Annies. 

To keep everyone safe, please continue to adhere to social distancing, wear a face covering and refrain from handshaking and hugging.
