Dan Shanahan (Portnard, Cappamore, Co. Limerick & formerly of Foilaclera, Doon) March 12th 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his loving parents Mylie and Anne, brothers John, Paddy, Timmy and Tom and his sister Mary.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Lizzy and loving Dad of Margaret, Kathleen, Daniel, Mary, Ann and Claire.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren, brothers Mylie, Willie, Michael and Joe, sisters Winnie, Annie Mary and Margaret, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Lynch-Kelly’s Funeral Home, Cappamore (V94C5H2) Wednesday evening (18th March) from 5 pm until 7 pm. Arriving in St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Doon cemetery.
