Dan Spillane

Dan passed away peacefully, in his 95th year, in the wonderful care of the staff in Ashborough Lodge Nursing Home, Milltown, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila (Nee Murphy), brothers John Michael, Pat and Denis, sisters Abbie and Sr Mary (USA).

Dan will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons: Fr Martin (P.P of Brosna and Knockaclarig), Niall (USA), Donie, Jerry and John, daughters-in-law Anne Marie, Eileen and Anita, grandchildren Aoife, Seán, Gillian and Gráinne, sisters Ellen (O'Sullivan, Gortacoppal), Sheila (Coughlan London) and Phil (Traynor, Ontario, Toronto), brothers-in-law Ted Murphy (Carker) and Podge Coughlan (London) and sister-in-law Mary (Kilbrean, Spa, Killarney), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Dan rest in peace.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing in Daly's Funeral Home, Scartaglen on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Scartaglen Cemetery.
