Dan passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family after a long illness bravely bourne at Mallow General hospital on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025.

 

Beloved husband of Noreen (née Browne), much loved father of Rosemary (O'Keeffe), Kieran and Norma (O'Mahony), cherished granddad of Daragh, Niamh, Ella, Lily, Daniel (Dan Óg), Caoimhe, Tadhg and Eimear.

 

Dear brother of Joan (Giltinane), Sean, Denis, Stasia (O'Sullivan), predeceased by his parents Dan and Josie and twin brother Jim.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law John and Alan, daughter-in-law Lisa, uncle Dan Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant (P51 N2NP) on Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into St. Nicholas' Church, Churchtown on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am, after which Dan will be laid to rest in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Buttevant.
