Daniel (Dan) Hanley

Hanley, Daniel (Dan), late of Glasnevin and Eyeries, Beara, former Principal of Beneavin College – 5th June 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and the staff of the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Dan and Julia, siblings Patrick, Vincent, Benny, Margaret and Mary.

He will be greatly missed by his sister Ann (Fleming), brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Rosarie, nephews Peter, Donal, Danny and Martin, nieces Jacqueline, Anne, Teresa and Julie Ann, grandnephews, grandniece, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday (6th June) from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Funeral on Friday morning (7th June) at 10 o’clock in Our Lady of Dolours Church, Glasnevin followed by burial in Gortnabulliga Cemetery, Eyeries, Beara, arriving at 5.30 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, in lieu to the Mater Foundation.
