Daniel (Dan) Hegarty
HEGARTY (Bauravilla, Skibbereen): On October 22nd 2025, unexpectedly but peacefully at home. DANIEL (Dan) beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Connolly), much loved and devoted father of Geraldine (O’Donovan). Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his daughter, son-in-law Bernard, grandsons Adam, Dylan and Evan, sisters Margaret and Mary (Sr. Leo), brother Stephen, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Sunday, October 26th 2025, from 3.30pm to 5pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, October 28th 2025, at 12 noon in the Church of The Holy Family, Caheragh. Funeral afterwards to Caheragh New Cemetery.
