The death has occurred of
Daniel (Dan) O'Mahony
O’MAHONY (Douglas and formerly of Caheragh, Co. Cork): On December 5th, 2024, passed away peacefully with his family, in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cork University Hospital. DANIEL (DAN), beloved husband of Margaret and loving father of Anthony, Claire, Catherine, Sinead, Helen and Siobhán. Dear brother to Kathleen, Julie, Miah and Pat. Adoring granddad to Harper, Jack, Brody, Páidí, Freddie and Léan.
Deeply missed by Gary, Chris, Donncha, Emer, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Sunday (December 8th) from 4.00pm - 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (December 9th) in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas which can be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Cork University Hospital, who provided Dan with such exceptional care, grace, dignity and compassion in his final days which brought much peace and comfort to his family.
We would especially like to express our gratitude to all the staff of wards 2B and the ICU.
