Daniel (Dan) Shortt
Daniel (Dan) Shortt, 13 Fairview, Birr, Co. Offaly, February 14th, 2024,(peacefully) in the wonderful care of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Pre-deceased by his sons; Stephen, Daniel and Mark, his brother James and sisters Mary and Joan. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, his sons; Willie, Pio, John and Paul, daughters-in-law; Cathriona, Mary and Marie, grandchildren; Craig, Courtney, Jack, Kate, Darragh, Ria, Michael, Kane, Keesha, Amy, Martin, Leah, Liam and Millie, great-grandchildren; Aida, Cora and Arianna, his brother Billy (Australia), sisters; Veronica (UK) and Carmel (Tenerife), extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF75) on Thursday evening from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
