Daniel (Dan) Whelan
Daniel (Dan) Whelan, Green Roads, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois, October 17th. 2023, peacefully at the Midland's Regional Hospital, Portlaoise in the company of his family. Predeceased by his brother Seán and sisters Statia and Maureen. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Kathleen, loving sons Owen, Brian, Donal and Michael, daughters-in-law Nicola, Julia, Deirdre and Donal's partner Angie, his adoring 11 grandchildren, brothers and sisters Harry, Bill, Rita (Arrigan), Eileen (White) and Kathleen (Elson), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Friday evening from 5.30pm pausing for prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Canice's Church, Borris-in-Ossory arriving for Requiem mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in The Church of the Assumption Cemetery, Killasmeestia.
