Daniel (Danny) Dalton

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden yet peaceful passing of our cherished Danny, at the Mater Hospital, surrounded by his grieving family.

 

He was the adored husband of Anne and devoted father to Anna, Danny, Elaine, Sinead, Grace, Edel, and the late Damien, alongside his twin brother Martin, who departed in infancy.

 

Formerly residing in Mellowes Avenue and Dunsink Gardens, Finglas, and later associated with CIE Broadstone and Northwall, Danny leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be etched in our hearts.

 

A lifelong Pigeon fancier and a founding member of the Finglas Pigeon Club, Danny's passion for these birds brought joy to many.

 

His memory will be deeply cherished by his family, including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Alan, Dean, Keith, Peter, and Jason, as well as his sisters-in-law Rita and Pauline, brother-in-law Cyril, along with nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.

 

May his soul find eternal peace.

 

Reposing at Michael Doyle Funeral Home this Wednesday the 20th, from 3 pm to 5 pm. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, commencing at 11:30 am at Saint Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, followed by interment at Glasnevin Cemetery.
