Daniel (Danny) McKevitt

Daniel (Danny) McKevitt, Ashefield, Mullingar, and formerly of the Irish Defence Forces, Columb Barracks, Mullingar , Co. Westmeath - 14th January 2024 - peacefully in the company of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by his parents Teresa and Laurence and his infant daughter Stephanie-Jane, sisters Margaret and Brigid, and brother Laurence.

Danny will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, wife Margaret, children, Jason, Donal, Derek, Jessica, Teresa, Larry and Mark, grandchildren Killian, Jack, Taylor & Áine, great granddaughter Hayley, Jason's wife Rachel, Derek's partner Elaine & Larry's partner Eóin and by a wide circle of friends and his former comrades in the Irish Defence Forces.

Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home, Mullingar (N91 K660) on Thursday 18th January 2024 from 3.30pm concluding with prayers at 6pm followed by removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar with reception at 6.30pm. Danny's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday 19th January at 11am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Mullingar Parish website and may be viewed live here.
