Daniel (Danny) Stanton

Stanton (Onslow Gardens, Common’s Road, Cork), on March 25th 2026, peacefully but unexpectedly in the presence of his loving family at The Mercy University Hospital; Daniel (Danny) (ex Collins' Barracks, Cork), beloved husband of the late Betty (née O’ Donovan), loving son of the late Denis and Chrissie, much loved father of Margaret, Daniel and Wesley and dearest brother of the late William and Ann. Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughter, sons, grandchildren Kerry, Ruby, Sophie, Finbarr and Gearoid, great-grandchildren Mason and Sonny, sisters Marion, Kathleen, Christine, Regina, Susan and Jacqueline, brothers Denis, Noel, Paul, Tom, James, Gerard and Martin, relatives, neighbours and friends, especially John Hurley.

Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday March 29th from 3.00pm to 4.00pm, with prayers at 3.45pm. Requiem Mass in The Church of The Resurrection, Farranree on Monday March 30th at 11.00am, which will be live-streamed on www.mycondolences.ie Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
