Daniel J. (Donal) Murphy

On Tuesday 27th January 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at University Hospital Kerry. Daniel (Donal) predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary (née O'Donoghue), his sisters Mary (infant), Hannah Mary (O'Donoghue, Cordal) and Kathleen (Kenny, Kilkenny).

Deeply mourned by his loving wife Kathleen (née Finnegan), sons Richard, Michael, Donal and Séamus, daughter Mary and daughters in law Noreen (née Nagle), Áine (née O'Brien), Kathleen (née Laffan) and Ann (née Ward). Sadly missed by his brother Séamus (Tramore) and sister Sheila (Cork). Lovingly remembered by his cherished grandchildren Caitríona, Norma, Pádraig, Eibhlís, Kate, Eimear, Ciara, John and Cillian, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great grandnephews, great grandniece, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, kind neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel (V92DX66) on this Thursday (29th) evening from 5pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Knocknagoshel (V92ND74). Requiem mass on Friday morning (30th) at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery Knocknagoshel. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to University Hospital Kerry.
