Daniel Megahey

Predeceased by his grandparents Michael and Margaret Gleeson and Martin and Maureen Megahey.

It is with deep sadness that Daniel’s family share the news of his death on 12 September, in the loving care of the Galway Hospice surrounded by his family. Deeply loved and mourned by his heartbroken parents, Adrian and Kathryn and sister Georgia, his aunts and uncles Judy, Annemarie and Michael Gleeson, Clifford, Paul, Elaine and Jackie Megahey, his cousins Grace, Lillian, Eva, Tess, Jack, Tom, Hannah, Sam, John and Ruth, relatives and all his wonderful friends.

Daniel will repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Friday, 15 September, from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Family and friends will gather again on Saturday, 16 September, at St. Ignatius (Jesuit) Church, Sea Road for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. to celebrate and to pray for Daniel. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.

He shone so brightly and brought us so much joy

And he will be so sadly missed.
