Daniel Neylon

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Neylon, originally from Loughnagown, Ennistymon, Co. Clare. Daniel left his home in Ireland as a young man at the age of 18 and moved to London in the early 1960s, where he met his beloved wife Breda, originally from Co. Galway. Together, they built a joyful life and raised their two children, Julian and Katrina, in London.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Daniel passed away peacefully at his home in London on July 6th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He will be profoundly missed by his devoted wife Breda, his son Julian, his daughter Katrina, his cherished grandchildren Conor and Mia, and their family dog Mitzi, whom he adored and walked daily.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents, William and Mary-Anne, his sister Mary, and his brothers Paddy (PJ), Martin, and Billy. He is survived by his brothers Davy, Tommy, John, and Michael. He will be dearly missed by his family in London, brothers in Ireland, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Transporting of the body from Patrick Ryan undertaker to the Church of the Transfiguration, 1 Wrentham Ave, London NW10 3HT at 6.pm for a blessing – where the coffin will stay in the church overnight.

Burial will take place at 1.30 pm St Mary's Catholic Cemetery - 679-681 Harrow Rd, London NW10 5NU followed by a reception to celebrate the life of Daniel Neylon at The Claddagh Ring - 10 Church Rd, Hendon London NW4 4EA.
