Daniel O'Leary

O’Leary (Cork) On May 10th 2025, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at the Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert. Daniel (Dan) Late of Knockfree Avenue, Fairhill, Guy & Co and Na Pairsaigh Hurling and Football Club. Dearly beloved husband of Mary (née Collins) and much loved father of Anthony (Tony), Cecelia (Sweeney), John, Andrew and Tina (Daly), adored grandfather of Stephanie, Padraig, David, Eoin, Luke, Caoimhe and Steven, great-grandad of Ted and Hannah, son of the late Christina and Daniel, brother of the late Paddy, Michael, John and Martin.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Con and Gerard, sister Betty, sons-in-law Denis and Michael, daughter-in-law Noelle, Tony’s partner Ger, Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street from 10.00am on Monday (May 12th) family in attendance from 4.00pm, with Rosary and prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (May 13th) at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s New Cemetery, Curraghkippane, family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
