Daniel Sammon

The death has occurred of Daniel Sammon, M.A. Tully, Renvyle, Co.Galway. August 25th 2025.

Daniel died peacefully at home, after a short brave battle with illness, surrounded by his loving family.

His wife Sheila, daughters Julie, Kathleen, Patricia, Sinead, Samantha and his son Daniel Dean, sons-in-law Pat,Oscar, John and Adam, his grandchildren Shane, Amy, Andrea, Oisin,Jenny, Adam, Dorian, Holly, Lydia, Emily, and Eugene.

Predeceased by his mother Bridie (1988) his father Peter (1999) and his sister Maureen (2024).

Deeply loved and sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

And may he be reunited with his love one's in heaven.

Daniel's remains will arrive to Christ the King Church Tullycross (H91D285) on Thursday 28th of August at 6pm until 8pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Daniel on Friday 29th of August at 1pm followed by burial in Renvyle Cemetery
