The death has occurred of
Daniel Stephen ''Steve'' Manning
Manning, Daniel Stephen "Steve", passed away peacefully on March 3rd 2026 in the loving care of the staff at Kinsale Community Hospital. Born in Ballinacurra, Kinsale, Co. Cork to Cornelius and Katherine (Sullivan) Manning on December 26th 1939. He is preceded in death by his parents Con and Katherine, brothers Tim, Con and Richard, sisters Joan, Mary and Sheila, sisters-in-law Elsie and Eileen, brothers-in-law Eddie, Jack and Tom.
He is survived by his brother John (Kathleen) of San Francisco and sister Kathleen Rondeau of Los Angeles. Also, survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Australia, Canada, England and United States, cousins, friends and neighbours in Ireland and San Francisco.
Steve will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Thursday from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm. (Parking is available in Supervalu Car Park by kind permission - max 2 hours).
Requiem Mass on Friday at 2pm in John the Baptist Church, Kinsale which will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale after which Steve will be laid to rest in St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale.
