The death has occurred of
Danny McCarthy
McCarthy (Timoleague) On 1st January 2026 (New Year's Day). Danny (Maryboro West) peacefully in the care of all at Mercy University Hospital, Cork, in his 95th year. Beloved son of the late Michael and Ellen and brother of the late Paddy, Gerry, Kitty Atkins, Timmy and Michael.
Sadly missed by his brother Denis (Viaduct), sister Eileen Colopy, nephew Michéal and his wife Siobhán, their children Gemma and Pádraig, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in Repose in Foley's Funeral Home, Timoleague on Sunday 4th January from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass in Timoleague Parish Church on Monday 5th at 12 noon which will be livestreamed here, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kilbrittain.
