Danny Murphy

MURPHY (Heir Island and Mardyke Road, Skibbereen):  on November 2nd 2021 unexpectedly at Cork University Hospital (following an accident). DANNY (founder member of Skibbereen Rowing Club) deeply mourned by his loving children Karan, Patrick, Sonia and Daniel, former partner of the late Cecelia Goggin. Dearly missed by his extended family Tony, Liza and Josephine, loving partner Margaret Russell, sons-in-law Sean, John and Kieran, daughters-in-law Rose and Paula, grandchildren Andrew, Saoirse, Aishling, Eoin Daniel, Niamh, Kyra, Roísin, Clara, Aidan, Achilleas, Jennifer, Nadia, Ciarán, Danielle and Meghan, former wife Theresa, great-grandchildren, the Russell Family, relatives and a large circle of friends and friends in Ceoltas, Society’s, the Labour Party and many organisations. 

Reposing at Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Friday, November 5th 2021, from 12.15pm to 3.15pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, November 6th 2021, at 1.30pm in St. Comghall’s Church, Lisheen. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to RNLI.
