Darren Behan (Lombard Street, Dublin) – 5th March 2026. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross while surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Mairead, parents Chrissie and Brian, and brother Brian. Beloved father of Chris, Natasha, Amy and Jessie.

Sadly missed and remembered by his family, brothers Gary and Jonathan, grandchildren Darcie-Beaux, Savana, Calvin, Clayton and Leon, nephews, nieces, especially Elaine and Kenny, Darren’s partner Liz, neighbours, friends and extended family.

 

May he Rest in Peace.

 

Darren will repose at Nichols Funeral Home, Lombard Street East on Monday (Mar 9th) from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (Mar 10th) to the Church of The Immaculate Heart of Mary, City Quay arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.

Chris, Natasha, Amy and Jessie would like to take this opportunity to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at St. James Hospital and Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross for the care and dignity they have shown to Darren and his family during his time with them.

 

The family have that asked anyone attending Darren’s funeral may wear an item of red clothing to celebrate his life, if they wish.
