The death has occurred of
David Arthur Carlyle
Carlyle, David Arthur (Late of Greystones, Cabinteely and the Ha’penny Bridge Galleries) – October 28th, 2022.
David passed away peacefully in his 80th year in the gentle care of Prof Ken McDonald and the entire team on Redwood at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Son of the late Ivan and Mabel. Pre-deceased by his brother Donald. Dearly loved and loving husband to Marion (Merrigan). Darling father to David, Sharon, Victoria and Zelda. Adored and insanely fun BlaBla to his 9 grandchildren, Elliot, Marcus, Stephanie, Zach, Ben, Calvin, Zara, George and Sebastian. Father in-law to Jackie, Tasos, Barney and Kevin. Brother of Dorothy, Iris and Eva and dear friend to his brothers and sisters-in-law and his extended family.
David will repose at home on Tuesday (1st November) from 4pm to 6pm. A celebration of David’s life will take place on Wednesday (2nd November) at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 4pm.
No flowers at David’s request but donations may be made to the Salvation Army Donate Salvation Army or the RNLI Donate RNLI
David was one of life’s true gentlemen who touched the hearts of all who knew him.
