David Barry

David Barry of Castlewood Park, Killerisk, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died peacefully, from an illness borne with great courage, (in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K.), on 28th January 2026, loving husband of Carmel, father of his cherished Sarah, dear brother of Paddy, Joan & Mary, beloved son of the late James & Joan and son-in-law of Chris and the late Agnes Whelton (died November 2025).

 

Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his nephews, nieces, aunts, brothers-in-law Jerry & Paul, sisters-in-law Maureen and the late Mary (Keating), relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

Rest in Peace.

 

David will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday (30th January) from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 9.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for David will be celebrated at 10 a.m. (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Private cremation will follow.

 

House strictly private.
