David Cavendish Rea
Rea, David Cavendish, Portmarnock and formerly of Griffith Avenue. 28th September 2024. Peacefully, after a short illness in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Laurence’s Ward, Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Betty and predeceased by his sons Jeff and Graham and daughter Ali. Deeply loved and adored father of Karen, Avril and Deborah, treasured grandfather and great-grandfather of Natasha, Craig, Jessica, Emily, Katie, Eva, Chloe, Eden, Isaac, Isla, Luke, Olivia and Harlow. Cherished father in law and loyal brother to Ted. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his extended family, many kind neighbours and his many friends and colleagues.
Safe in the arms of Jesus
Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Tuesday, 1st October, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal to All Saints Church, Raheny on Wednesday morning for a Service at 11am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium at 1.30pm. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to The Ehlers Danlos Society.
