Dave passed away peacefully on Sunday February 16th, 2025, surrounded by his family and in the care of the wonderful staff of Marymount Hospital and Hospice, Cork.

 

A man of great kindness, charisma and wit.

 

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Orla Clarke, daughters Victoria, Vanessa, and Jenny-Rose, son-in-law Toby, his grandchildren Ólan and his wife Molly, Rosa, Anna-May and Alex.

 

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

 

Dave will respose in Casey's Funeral Home, Inchigeelagh, on Thursday February 20th from 6.00pm until 7.30pm.

 

A celebration of Dave's life will take place in Casey's Funeral Home, Inchigeelagh on Saturday February 22nd at 12.00 noon.

 

Funeral afterwards to Inchigeelagh Cemetery.

 

The family would like to extend their enormous gratitude to the many people who have helped Dave over the past year, not forgetting Dr. Ken Harte, The Staff of Cork University Hospital and Marymount and also all of the incredible volunteers and friends who drove Dave in recent times.
