David (Dave) Smyth

Dave passed away peacefully on 20th April 2026, after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his broken hearted family. Predeceased by his loving dad Jimmy. Deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife Caroline, his loving stepchildren Mya and Casey, his adoring Mam Phil, brothers Alan and Paul, sister Lorraine, mother-in-law Deirdre, father- in- law Billy, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

 

Dave loved and cherished his family above all else, and his love for his children was at the heart of everything he did.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92XN75) from 4.30pm until 7.30pm on Wednesday and from 5pm until 7pm on Thursday evening. A celebration of Dave’s life will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1.30pm in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin and can be viewed on https://www.dctrust.ie/location/dardistown/dardistown-chapel-webstreaming.html
