David DILLON

Co. Kilkenny
David, in his 50th year, passed away, surrounded by family, on 30th August 2025, after a short illness and in the exceptional care of the staff at CCU, University Hospital, Waterford. Beloved son of Geraldine and the late Tommy and much loved brother of Tom, Jennifer and Catherine. David will be dearly missed by his heartbroken family, sister-in-law Teresa and brothers-in-law Michael and Daniel. David was a wonderful uncle to Emma, Aoife, Ella, Orla, Conn, Rory, Cara and Síle by whom he will be greatly missed. Deeply regretted by his uncles Sonny and John, cousins, extended family and a circle of good friends.
David's family would like to thank in a special way all at the Dialysis Unit in University Hospital, Waterford for the kindness and care shown to David over the last number of years.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Monday (1st Sept) from 4pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Johnswell.
Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery, Kilkenny.
The Requiem Mass will be live streamed
