David Gibson

GIBSON, David – Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow and formerly Whitehall, Dublin. David died peacefully on 10th January 2026, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. Beloved husband of Ann and much-loved father of Gillian, Karen and John. Sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law Philip and Niall, John’s partner Emma, and by his cherished grandchildren Jack, Ella, Cian and Megan. Predeceased by his father Walter, mother Marie, and brother John. Remembered with love by his sister Jean and nephew Darren, his sisters and brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, 21 Beaumont Road on Tuesday 13th January from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Wednesday morning 14th January to the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am, followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
